How You Can Help

We are in the early stages of establishing Hope Underground.  Our biggest need at this time is money to fund the operations.  We have already begun the street ministry and hope to establish our first transitional home in late 2009 or early 2010. 

Below is an example of what your donations could help us provide.

• 50 people giving $43 per month ($10/wk) will allow us to provide mentorship and spiritual guidance to troubled teenagers and young adults.  We will also help them obtain any government or charitable assistance for which they qualify.

• 100 people giving $43 per month will allow us to provide mentorship and spiritual guidance, plus basic necessities such as prescriptions, clothing, help with rent, transportation costs, etc.

• 150 people giving $43 per month will allow us to do all of the above plus establish a dedicated residence to house 3 to 4 teenagers who are ‘aging out’ of the foster care system- this is vitally important in that it serves to prevent the cycle of homelessness before it starts.

• 200 people giving $43 per month will allow us to do all of the above, plus the capacity to house an additional 3 to 4 teenagers who are either homeless or are likely to become homeless.

Obviously, all gifts are welcome, no matter how small or large- either one-time donations or monthly pledges.
